SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man who was wanted in connection to an Amber Alert Thursday and in the murder of his 22-year-old was arrested in Montgomery County on Friday after a police chase.
Jeffrey Bedinger, 50, was reportedly staying at a friend's house in Montgomery County when a neighbor recognized him. When Bedinger left the house, he was followed by police who were in the are.
The police chased Bedinger down Wilmington Pike, where he ran his vehicle into a bus. The vehicle then flipped over and the chase ended.
Bedinger is currently in an area hospital under police care.
Bedinger was wanted Thursday in connection with an Amber Alert issued for his son Zane. Zane was found at a relative's house in Indiana later that day.
Bedinger is wanted in the murder of his 22-year-old stepson.
