Pair accused of trying to use counterfeit money at church festival

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police say a man and a juvenile attempted to use counterfeit money at a local church festival on Sunday.

Church employees at the Saint Lawrence Parish Festival at 3680 Warsaw Avenue told police 49-year old Robert Moore and a 15-year-old boy went to several booths and tried to use a counterfeit 50 dollar bill.

Both men reportedly had a copy of the same counterfeit 50 dollar bill with the serial number "IB82337658A."

Police arrested Moore and and the teen at 10 p.m. Sunday evening and charged them with theft.
