Guilty plea in 2002 murder

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County man who was charged in connection with a murder in 2002 has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

Nathan Elrod, 31, pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the murder of Nolan Moi.

Moi's mother, Lucy Logan, founded the organization Who Killed Our Kids, which is dedicated to raising awareness about unsolved murders. 

Elrod was originally charged with two counts of murder, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of burglary with specifications.

Elrod was the third person charged in connection with Moi's murder. Joseph Nickley and William McCally are also charged.
