CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police arrested two men at the same location in Price Hill who are allegedly responsible for the two recent murders near the Fay Apartments.

Cincinnati Police say that information was developed by the SOFAST response unit which tracked down the suspects.

Police said Deonte Slater, 20, was arrested Thursday at 11:50 p.m. at the 3700 block of Westmont Avenue in Price Hill and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. Authorities believe Slater shot and killed Terry Johnson, 21, on July 5 at the Fay Apartments on Nottingham Road.

Investigators said Johnson was at the wheel in a stopped SUV with at least two passengers when Slater fired multiple shots inside.  Johnson tried to drive away, but lost control and crashed into a building.

Police said Dujuan Walker, 21,  was with Slater Thursday and was arrested for the murder of John Anderson, 29. Walker is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Investigators said Anderson was found shot on July 12 in the 3900 block of President Drive. Anderson was pronounced dead at the hospital after paramedics tried to save his life.

The two murders happened only eight days apart from each other.

Both suspects will be arraigned Saturday morning.
