2 skydiving seniors die when chutes tangle in Pa.

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Two senior citizens who died in a Pennsylvania skydiving accident were longtime friends who had jumped together for years.

That's according to the daughter of one of the men, 75-year-old George Flynn of Colonia, N.J. Flynn's daughter, Diane Sievert of Old Bridge, N.J., says her father was an experienced skydiver who had jumped more than 1,500 times.

Flynn and 70-year-old Theodore Wilson of New Rochelle, N.Y., died over the weekend after their parachutes became tangled during a jump in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.

Sievert says her father was an adventurous man who learned to skydive and pilot a plane after retiring from his job as an ironworker 16 years ago.

Wilson's family declined to comment.
