ROSELAWN, OH (FOX19) - A man is behind bars after an officer-involved shooting that occurred over the weekend.

It happened around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of Club Celebrity in the 7600 block of Reading Road.

Police say Deputy Al Caldwell was standing on the sidewalk in front of Lions Den when he was struck by a 2004 Dodge Ram truck. The operator attempted to flee the parking lot, and struck a marked Hamilton County Sheriff's Patrol Unit.

Deputies working the off duty detail discharged their firearms at the suspect vehicle, causing the operator to lose control and strike a parked vehicle and a tree in the 1600 block of Northwood Drive.

Police placed the driver, Keith Underwood, into custody. He is charged with felonious assault and was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.  He was arraigned Monday and had his bond set at $350,000.

Deputy Caldwell was treated at the scene.

The case remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Section.
