Police: Children started fire while mom was asleep

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Mount Airy mother is behind bars after police say her two children started a fire while she was asleep.

Tonette Sutton, 30, is charged with two counts of child endangering and one count of obstruction.

According to the arrest report, Sutton was in her apartment on Bahama Terrace asleep while her two children, both age 10, were outside between two buildings starting a fire. Police say Sutton delayed officers by an  hour to talk to her by continuously lying about her location over the phone.
