Woman accused of trying to hit deputy, leading police on chase

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County woman was in court Monday morning after she was arrested for a weekend incident where she allegedly tried to run over a Cincinnati Police Officer.

Jacqueline Schnur, 38, is charged with felonious assault, failure to comply and obstructing official business, as well as numerous traffic charges.

According to court documents, Schnur tried to flee after a traffic stop and tried to cause physical harm to an officer by backing up into his cruiser.

She then took off, hitting 80 miles per hour in a residential area. She crashed her car after the pursuit and was later apprehended after she fled on foot.

Schnur's bond was set at $70,000.
