CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Newly acquired Bengal Terrell Owens officially signed with the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday and completed his first day of training camp.
Owens landed at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport earlier Thursday afternoon and was immediately greeted by a large group of fans.
Owens was expected earlier in the day, but missed his flight from Los Angeles.
"I am aboard my flight! Ocho Cinco, the rest of my teammates & BENGALS NATION...HERE I COME!!" Owens posted on his Twitter before leaving L.A.
Owens is expected to talk to the media after evening practice, which ends at 9 p.m.
The Bengals began training camp Thursday in Georgetown, Ky. Owens was expected early in the morning to sign his contract and take a physical.
"My Press conf about my "Decision" 2 take my talents 2 Cincy will b held 2nite after 7pm practice!!" he tweeted, playing off LeBron James' one-hour television show announcing his decision to leave Cleveland.
Owens also misspelled Cincinnati in one of his tweets and was quickly corrected by a follower.
"Okayyyyyy I got it now, 2 n's & 1 t! CINCINNATI!! LOL!" he tweeted.
When asked by FOX19's Brian Giesenschlag where Owens was, Chad Ochocinco said, "stop being negative."
