Man wanted for attacked elderly man; mother charged with hiding him

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A man is in jail for allegedly putting an elderly man into a coma and robbing him. His alleged accomplice is still wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Robert Krull, 21, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.

Shawn Gould, 31, is still wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for his involvement in the crime. His mother, Cathy Gould, 54, has been arrested for obstructing justice for allegedly hiding Shawn Gould in the basement of her home.

Police said Krull and Gould attacked 61-year old William Smith on State Route 128 on July 21.  Smith was taken to University Hospital, where he is still in a coma.

Krull is being held on an $11,000 bond.
