GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX19) - Three thousand fans watched Thursday night's Bengals training camp practice. Nearly a thousand were out for the morning session.

This was the first time fans had the chance to interact with the players on the campus of Georgetown College, the Bengals home for preseason play.

Fans lined up 10 deep in hopes of getting Bengals memorabilia signed Thursday morning. While kicker and native Buckeye, Mike Nugent, was signing autographs, he said the experience was awesome.

It reminded him of when he was a kid.

"I remember doing the same thing when I was real young. The Bengals were at Wilmington for camp and we'd go get autographs," Nugent said.

Whose autograph did he want?

"Boomer Esiason," Nugent said with a grin.

Now, he has kids and kids at heart lined up asking for his autograph on their footballs, jerseys and pictures.
