St. Joseph Cemetery vandalized for the second time in as many weeks

WEST PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - The St. Joseph Cemetery in West Price Hill has been vandalized for the second time in just as many weeks.

Police report that some thirty headstones, marble grave markers, and monuments were knocked over or destroyed Sunday night by vandals who had run through the cemetery. Some of those pieces of marble were more than 150 years old.

The damage is estimated at nearly $250,000.

Police spent all day Monday cleaning up the mess left by the vandals. The cemetery is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with any information.
