DVD Copies of fireworks show to be sent to troops

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Local company Cincinnati Bell along with radio station WEBN are making an effort to honor families of local troops during this year's fireworks show that takes place on September 5th, at 9pm, and can be seen in HD on Fox 19.

Cincinnati Bell has announced that they will share special VIP seating at the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks with the families of our Tri-state fallen heroes. These families, whom have lost a loved one in service to our country in Iraq or Afghanistan, are going to be guests of honor for a ringside seat at the event.

"This is our small way to say thank you," said Jack Cassidy, president and CEO of Cincinnati Bell, "for their courage and dedication on behalf of our nation and the freedoms we hold dear. We hope that the sacrifices these Gold Star families have made will never be forgotten, and in fact encourage all of us to pursue the dreams that these freedoms enable."

Cincinnati Bell also says that DVD copies of the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks event are going to be sent to Tri-state troops overseas, thanks to Prestige A/V Services, the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, and Fox Channel 19, which plans to telecast coverage of the fireworks live in HD.

Coverage begins at 8 p.m. on Sept 5. WEBN once again plans to feature their exclusive stereo fireworks soundtrack on 102.7 FM.
