CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds have traded outfielder Chris Dickerson to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for outfielder Jim Edmonds.

Edmonds began his career in Anaheim before playing for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2000. He played for the Cards for eight season before going to the Cubs, the Padres and the Brewers.

Edmonds, 40, has notoriously been a "Reds killer" throughout his career. Most recently, on July 26, he hit a game-winning homerun for the Brewers off of Bronson Arroyo.

Dickerson was on rehab assignment in Louisville after undergoing surgery on his right wrist. He's batting .442 for the Riverbats.
