MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Three people have been charged in connection with a man's murder in Middletown.
Police say they discovered Randy Manis, 40, deceased in a home on First Street on Monday afternoon.
Investigators say his death was a robbery gone bad and that the three suspects intended to rob the victim and ended up killing him.
They believe one of the suspects, Keri Kakaris, 19, knew the victim. She is charged with aggravated robbery. Two other suspects, Phillip Platt, 25, and Ricardo Renfro, 19, are charged with aggravated murder.
All three are being held in the Middletown Jail.
