OWENSVILLE, OH (FOX19) - A Clermont County soldier killed in Afghanistan will be laid to rest Tuesday.
A processional will be held Tuesday for Army Spc. Joseph Bauer.
Bauer, 27, died July 24 in a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan.
Local law enforcement and fire departments will lead the Bauer family members from the Gwen Mooney Funeral Home, north on Broadway to St. Louis Church beginning at 4 p.m.
Clermont County commissioner Bob Proud is asking people to come out and stand along the route, waving flags and paying their last respects to a fallen hero.
The community is invited to the church to visit with family from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
A private mass and burial will take place afterwards.
A similar procession was held Friday, when Spc. Bauer's body was flown home.
