One dead, another injured in Kenton County car accident

INDEPENDENCE, KY (FOX19) - Police are investigating a crash where one person has died and  another was injured Saturday morning.

A short time after 7:00am, Kenton County and Independence Police were called to the 400 block of Bristow Road for a report of a vehicle accident.

When crews arrived to the scene, there had been a single car crash. The preliminary investigation reveals that 25-year-old Ronald Gambrel was traveling east on Bristow Road when his vehicle went left of the right side of the roadway and struck several feet of fencing.

Gambrel was transported to University Hospital  by AirCare where he is listed in serious condition.

His passenger, 22-year-old Cory Bradley was also transported to University Hospital by AirCare for his injuries. He died a short time later.
