COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - Ohio Governor Ted Strickland has announced the appointment of Matthew Fellerhoff to the Hamilton County Municipal Court.
Matthew Fellerhoff, 43, of Mount Washington, has been named by Governor Strickland to fill the 4th District Hamilton County Municipal Court seat that became vacant upon the death of Judge Julia Stautberg on May 19, 2010.
"Matthew brings a wide and deep breadth of legal experience to the Hamilton County Municipal Court. He also carries with him a long history of personal service to the citizens of Hamilton County," Strickland said. "I know he will be a compassionate, thoughtful addition to the bench."
Fellerhoff will take the bench on September 13, 2010. To retain the seat, he must run in the November 2011 general election.
"I am honored and humbled to be given the opportunity to serve the citizens of Hamilton County," Fellerhoff said. "On the bench I will use my background and experience to make unbiased decisions and to uphold the integrity of the court."
