Robber indicted after deadly home invasion

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - One of the suspects who was involved in a deadly home invasion in Hanover Township has been indicted for murder.

John E. Robinson was indicted by a Butler County Grand Jury on two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of murder.

Robinson and another man, Steven Davis, attempted to rob a home on August 8 and the homeowner fired shots at them, killing Davis.

Ohio law says that if a death occurs as the result an offender committing or attempting to commit a violent criminal offense that is a first- or second-degree felony, the person can be charged with murder.
