CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A former teacher was sentenced Thursday for having sexual contact with a teenage girl.
Salvatore Magro, 51, was sentenced to four years in prison and upon release will have to register as a Tier 2 sex offender. He will also have five years probation.
Magro was a social studies and religion teacher at Our Lady of Victory in Delhi Township. He pled guilty in June to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor after police found he developed a relationship with a teenage girl.
The girl lived with Magro and his wife for a short time, and during sentencing, it was revealed that Magro would allegedly drug his wife so he could have sexual contact with the teen.
Magro's wife spoke during sentencing and asked for leniency, saying Magro was a "little white man" and she was concerned about him being in prison.
Magro could have received up to 15 years in prison.
