SUNMAN, IN (FOX19) - Two people have been arrested and two people are wanted after a shooting and attempted robbery in Dearborn County.
The incident happened August 11 on Norkus Road. Lawrenceburg Police say the intended victim in the case was beaten about the face and suffered a superficial gunshot wound in the ambush style incident, but escaped without being robbed.
A conspiracy to rob the intended victim was discovered as the investigation progressed.
On Thursday, warrants were issued as a result of the investigation.
Perry J. Peak, 36, of Sunman, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and was arrested Thursday on White Plains Road. He is being held in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center. Kelly Buchert, 26, of West Harrison, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and was arrested Thursday in Aurora. She is also being held in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
Police are still looking for Anthony Stansbury, 29, of Cincinnati, and Erica King, 24, of Cincinnati. Stansbury is charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery. King is wanted for conspiracy to commit robbery.
