GEORGETOWN, OH (FOX19) - A Brown County grand jury has decided not to indict a babysitter who was looking after two boys when they drowned in a creek.
Michelle Walls was babysitting Justin DeVercelly, 11, and his brother, Blake, 8, in June when they went to Brush Creek to watch the water rise during a flash flood.
The Felicity brothers drowned in the swollen waters near the Brown-Clermont county line.
The Brown County Prosecutor says that after a "lengthy and thorough" investigation, the grand jury returned no indictment.
"This was a terrible accident and (I) hope the healing process can begin for the family and the community," said Jessica Little, Brown County Prosecutor.
