RABBIT HASH, KY (FOX19) - The Annual Old Timers Day, to be held Saturday, September 4th from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The festival will include live music, food, drinks, an art show, artistic demonstrations, children's activities, hay rides, and a belly dancing performance to round things out. Mayor Lucy Lou will be in attendance.
Two new Rabbit Hash businesses will be open. The Scalded Hog Riverside Café will be serving up the finest pulled pork and racks of ribs, and the Elk Creek Winery will be offering wine tasting.
Rabbit Hash is fast becoming one of the area's most sought after places for local and regional bands to perform. This year's music line up features: 12:00: Gunpowder Creek, 12:45: Jake Speed & the Freddies, 1:30: The Downtown County Band, 2:30: Michael McEntyre & the Marmalade Brigade, 3:45: Kelly Thomas & the Fabulous Pickups, 4:30: Keshvar Project, 5:15: Magnolia Mountain, 6:30: The Whiskey Bent Valley Boys, 7:45: Pure Grain, 9:00: The StarDevils and at 10:15: Stone River Boys (all the way from Austin TX).
Parking is limited, so carpool if you can. Follow the signs to the designated parking areas and the Hay Ride will take you to the festival.
