CINCINNATI (FOX19)- A sewage leak about 2 miles above Winton Lake has been fixed and is no longer flowing into the stream, according to the Hamilton County Park District, on Saturday.
The Hamilton County Park District took a sample from West Fork Creek to test for coliform bacteria at 8 am on Saturday. They found that there were no signs of sewage in the lake.
The park district will inspect the stream as it heads down to Winton Lake throughout the weekend but they do not believe at this time that water in Winton Creek has been impacted.
The park district says that fishing and boating can take place at Winton Lake.
