CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Hundreds of people from Cincinnati Jewish community helped out 15 different charities on Sunday.
People of all ages worked on projects at the Adath Israel congregation and did "Mitzvahs" or "Good deeds."
"About a third of the congregation comes out each year to do this. This is our 7th year and they pretty much attract between 200-250 people every year, so it's a great activity...It's free, it's fun and it makes you feel good." says Judy Levenson, Mitzvah Day.
Volunteers made bag lunches for the drop center, decorated cookies for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, made blankets for kids at Children's Hospital and some donated blood.
