PLEASANT RIDGE, OH (FOX19) - Emergency crews investigated what appeared to be a homemade bomb in Pleasant Ridge.
Just after 10 a.m., someone reported a device resembling a pipe bomb in some weeds on Montgomery Road near Lawndale.
Fire crews responded and took the device apart, and found no explosives.
No one was hurt. Police say the device had likely been there a long time.
Montgomery Road was blocked in the area while crews investigated, but is now reopen.
