Man killed in three car crash in Florence

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - Florence Police are investigating a fatal three-car crash that occurred early Wednesday morning.

It hap paned on Interstate 71/75 around the 176.5 mile marker, between the Mount Zion Road and Richwood exits.

Police say a Chrysler Concorde was traveling southbound and was struck by a Hyundai Accent driven by Jeremy Lee, 18, of Chandler, Ariz. Lee and his passenger, Brandi Watt, 19, of Cape May Courthouse, N.J. were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chrysler, Rashid Muner, 50, of Kettering, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A third vehicle, a Saturn driven by Virginia Vicini, 40, of Lexington, was also involved in the accident. She was not injured.
