By Mark Shuller - Email

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX 19) - St. Ann's Parish, the Advocates for Justice Parish Collaborative, and Working in Neighborhoods (WIN) are uniting in prayerful support of our community's economic struggles. At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 8th, they will stage a short prayer walk on the grounds of St. Ann's Church, 2900 West Galbraith Road.

All are invited to join in this Pilgrimage of Hope to recognize the suffering in our community and pray for grace and inspiration to work on behalf of those who have lost their jobs, homes, and financial security.

"As acts of faith and hope, we will pray for the grace to do God's will and realize His reign of peace and justice in our community," the organizers explained. "Pilgrimage of Hope will serve as a sign of support and hope to those who may be near despair and lift them up toward the possibility of a brighter future.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati is the 38th largest Catholic diocese in the country, with almost 500,000 Catholics, and has the eighth largest Catholic school system in terms of enrollment. The 19-county territory includes 214 parishes and 112 Catholic primary and secondary schools.
