LUDLOW, Ky. (AP) - Police in northern Kentucky say it could take months to determine how a mother and her adult daughter died in their home.
The bodies of 55-year-old Beverly Benson and 30-year-old Amber Benson were discovered in their home in Ludlow on Aug. 15 after someone reported an odor from the house.
Ludlow Police Lt. Col. Benny Johnson says getting autopsies results and toxicology tests could take up to three months.
Authorities said the women had been dead for about a week when found and there were no obvious signs of trauma to their bodies.
A family member said both women had chronic illnesses, but a detective said they didn't die of sickness.
