COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Covington police have arrested 29 people for trafficking drugs into the city.
Detectives hope to serve warrants on 41 people. Detectives rounded up 16 suspects on Thursday. Thirteen others were arrested earlier this week. It's all in connection with a six-month investigation in reference to drug trafficking into Covington.
The men and woman are all wanted for trafficking either cocaine, heroin, marijuana or pills.
All of the subjects were taken to the Kenton County Detention Center.
Detectives hope to round up the remaining subjects by the end of this week. Some men and women live in Cincinnati. Authorities said the U.S. Marshals will assist the department in apprehending those subjects.
