Foreign Policy Challenge in Washington

WASHINGTON, D.C. (FOX19) - President Obama faces a foreign policy challenge in Washington, as leaders of Israeli and Palestine are attempting to work out a solution to conflict between the two states. But tensions are high after four Israelis were killed on Tuesday by a Palestinian gunman. Even though the two sides are far apart on key issues, officials hope to have a final agreement within one year. While the president is attempting to create a foreign policy change, many disagree with the announcement to end combat. Senator John McCain is unhappy with the president's decision to remove U.S. combat forces out of Iraq. The Arizona lawmaker and others feel that the president should not have set a deadline for withdrawal, stating "…you don't win conflicts when you tell the enemy that you are leaving."
