WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky (FOX19) - The 3rd annual Kentucky Horse Heritage Days festival in Williamstown, Kentucky will be taking place on September 24th, 25th, and 26th at the Northern Kentucky Fairgrounds.
The event will feature a variety of horse related activities. Friday is designated as a 4-H day with showcasing animals and an animal swap. Saturday and Sunday will feature drill team demonstrations, a showcase of breeds, art, crafts, and antiques. They will also feature horse pulls, horse plowing, fun show, and educational opportunities with blacksmith demos such as saddle making, farrier demos, and hippatherapy.
The Horse Heritage Committee hopes that visitors coming in from all over the world will want to experience all aspects of the horse industry, and go to other places of interest in Kentucky.
Admission for the event is $5. Children under 12 get in free for the event.
