The Oak Hills Highlanders bounced back after a disappointing effort in Week 1 with a resounding 41-14 win over the Harrison Wildcats Friday night at Betz Memorial Stadium.
Oak Hills (1-1) scored within the game's first two minutes on a 7-yard Jacob Allison touchdown run and never looked back. Allison added a second touchdown, this time on a 50-yard catch from quarterback Justin Hildreth, less than three minutes later and the route was on.
Harrison (1-1) was only outgained by 370 to 328 in total yards, but lost out badly in field position and committed four costly turnovers.
Hildreth finished the night by completing 7-of-16 passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns while adding 21 more yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Tommy Konkoly added 121 yards on 17 carries.
Wildcats' running back Zach Lonneman picked up 177 yards on 37 carries in the loss.
Oak Hills travels to Loveland in Week 3. Harrison is back home for a tilt with Kings.
