CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Ohio Governor Ted Strickland will be making a speech Monday at the Cincinnati Annual AFL-CIO Labor Day Picnic.
Governor Strickland is expected to speak about bringing jobs to Ohio. Local working families will also be calling for "good jobs now" as they gather to honor workers from across the Tri-State this Labor Day.
The Cincinnati AFL-CIO Labor Day Picnic is open to the public. The entry fee is $2.00 per adult and $1.00 per car load of children. Also peaking will be working families from the Tri-State and Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers. Speaking is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm.
