ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) - The man accused of shooting a man with a bow and arrows Tuesday morning has reportedly been found in Georgia.

According to Elmwood Place Police, Harry Spivey, 57, was found in McDounough, Georgia at a person's house, telling the people living there that he had shot his best friend, and that they needed to call authorities.

McDounough is 30 miles south of Atlanta and almost 500 miles from Elmwood Place.

Investigators say Tuesday around 4 a.m. Spivey was arguing with his friend, 50 year-old Douglas Stacey.

The pair were at Stacey's home on the 400 block of Beech Street when neighbors reported hearing an argument.

Sometime between then and 6:30 a.m. authorities say Spivey shot Stacey three times with a bow and arrows. Authorities say Stacey was asleep when the attack happened and that when police arrived he told Police Spivey is who shot him.

Neighbors say they heard Stacey yelling for help and called police. Stacey was taken to University Hospital, underwent surgery, and as of Tuesday night is in stable condition.

Two arrows struck Stacey in the back and one in the hand.

Investigators say Spivey was homeless and had been staying with Stacey and the fight started after Spivey was asked to leave.

Elmwood Place Police say there will be an extradition hearing as early as Wednesday from Henry Co., Ga.

There is a warrant for attempted murder in Hamilton County for Spivey.
