Pleasant Run Middle School Sings Star Spangled Banner

CINCINNATI(FOX19) – The Star Spangled Banner will be performed by Pleasant Run Middle School Student Body on September 14th at 9:00am in front of the school to celebrate the sixth year of the "National Anthem Project: Restoring America's Voice."  Students will be joined by police officers and helicopter from the Hamilton Sheriff's Department and Colerain Township police and fire departments. The University of Cincinnati ROTC Color Guard will present the colors.

The event coincides with the newly created National Arts in Education Week September 12- 18.

Pleasant Run Middle School's student body will be dressed in red, white and blue and holding American flags and will be led by Mark A. Hensler, Past State President of the OMEA and 26 year veteran music teacher in the Northwest Local Schools.
