Ronald McDonald House Day of Change

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- The Ronald McDonald House charities hopes your loose change will turn into a healthy, happy future for children on Thursday.

On September 9, Ronald McDonald House charities is asking families to donate their loose change to help millions of other families. The change gathered in the fundraiser and throughout the year, helps families stay together while critically injured children get treatment and cope better.

Last year, the total collected more than $19 million dollars in donation boxes at McDonald's locations.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities serves more than 4 million families a year world-wide.
