Police conduct drug investigation in Sedamsville

SEDAMSVILLE, OH (FOX19) - One man is under arrest after a drug investigation in Sedamsville.

Police and Cincinnati firefighters swarmed the house located at the corner of River Road and Norman Avenue on Wednesday evening. They searched every room of the home. Some firefighters put on Hazmat suits before they entered, saying it was a precaution.

Paul Bryant, 44, was arrested for running a meth lab and growing marijuana. The home is not far from Riverside Academy.

Bryant will be in court Thursday morning to face one count of manufacturing methamphetamine and assembly or possession of chemicals used to manufacture controlled substance with intent to manufacture controlled substance.

Units were called in from as far as Columbus to participate in the investigation.

River Road remained open all night. Police said the area is safe for those living nearby.
