NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A man has been arrested after police say he dragged a 6-year-old boy by the facemask of a football helmet.
Charles Robinson, 41, is facing one count of endangering children.
Police say an officer observed Robinson during the incident on Indian Mound Avenue on Thursday. According to the arrest report, the boy was being punished for his performance on the football field.
In addition, the boy's mother, Chellie Bowden, 36, is also facing one count of endangering children for soliciting Robinson's help and watching while he dragged the boy.
According to court records, Robinson was out on bond for a felonious assault charge in July.
Both appeared in court Friday morning. Bowden's bond was set at $1,000 and Robinson's bond was set at $5,000.
