Police investigating 'terroristic threat' against day care

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Fairfield Township Police Department says they are investigating a suspicious letter received by a local day care saying everyone there should die in a "9/11-style attack."

The letter was received Thursday at the Kinder Care Learning Center on Morris Road. It referred to a disgruntlement towards Kinder Care about a recent article in the newspaper.

While did not contain a specific threat, it did reference that the person writing the letter felt that everyone at Kinder Care should die in a "9/11-style attack."

A police report has been filed as a terroristic threat and police say the incident is being taken very seriously.

Kinder Care authorities called a conference with parents on Thursday night to announce the situation and that matter is being looked into. The day care has hired a security guard and they are taking all necessary precautions while remaining open for business.

Anyone with information should call the Fairfield Township Police Department at (513) 887-4406, or via dispatch at (513) 785-1300.
