CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A downtown Cincinnati restaurant is temporarily closing its doors.
'Bootsy's,' which is located across from the Aronoff Center, is closing to make way for a new restaurant.
The collaboration between Bootsy Collins and Jeff Ruby has won several awards since it opened in December 2008.
Ruby and Collins teamed up to bring a rock-and-roll vibe to the downtown nightlife. The 2-story restaurant and night club boasted memorabilia from Collins' career and the menu was a mix of Spanish and seafood.
A new restaurant, called 'The Grill,' will open in November and feature American cuisine. Jeff Ruby is involved in the new endeavor and says his friendship with Collins has never been stronger.
