OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - Two people were injured after a floor collapsed in a building in Over the Rhine.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. at 14 East McMicken Avenue, which is near the intersection with Vine Street. The building is vacant and in the process of being remodeled.
Sgt. Danita Kilgore with Cincinnati Police said contractors were in the building to remove debris when a Bobcat fell through the 2nd floor, causing both the operator of the Bobcat and another worker to fall.
Both workers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were other workers inside the building at the time, but no one else was hurt.
Sgt. Kilgore said the building is structurally sound and is not in danger of collapsing.
