The Children's Home to host celebration for successful fundraising campaign

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX 19) – The Children's Home of Cincinnati will be hosting an open house celebration to announce a successful Building on a Legacy of Excellence Campaign. The campaign raised $5 million as part of a $10 million master plan to expand, upgrade and consolidate facilities for at-risk children.

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory and James Wainscott, President & CEO of AK Steel & campaign co-chair, will speak to 100+ expected attendees. The event will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Wainscott Building, located on 5050 Madison Road.

Incorporated in 1864, The Children's Home of Cincinnati transforms the lives of vulnerable children facing significant social, behavioral and learning challenges.
