FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police discovered a rolling meth lab during a routine traffic stop in Fairfield Township Thursday night.

Police pulled over a vehicle Thursday night for a routine traffic stop near the corner of Millikin Road and Creekside Way in Fairfield Township. When police investigated the vehicle, they found materials for making meth.

Police say further investigation revealed the driver of the car, Steven Hymer, 31, of Fairfield Township, had committed a burglary earlier in the day, stealing a set of golf clubs valued at $5,000 from a home on Gulf Club Lane. Hymer is charged with burglary, illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly of drugs and numerous traffic charges.

Hymer's passenger, Sara D. Campbell, 33, of London, Ky. is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. She also had outstanding felony warrants.

Police closed down Millikin Road while hazardous materials were being cleaned at the scene, but by Friday morning, everything was back to normal.
