Arrow assault suspect back in Tri-State

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - An Adams County man accused of firing three arrows from a hunting bow into his friend has been returned to Hamilton County to face charges of attempted murder and felonious assault.

Harry Spivey, 57, was extradited from Georgia late Thursday and in jail at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Spivey man allegedly assaulted 50-year-old Doug Stacey on Sept. 7 in Elmwood Place after Stacey told him he wanted Spivey to move out of his home.

Stacey is recovering from injuries including a punctured lung. Spivey drove some 500 miles before turning himself in to authorities in McDonough, Ga.

He will be in court on Sept. 24. No attorney is listed for him.
