CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A non-profit shelter in the Tri-state is up for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi Refresh.

Pepsi Refresh is giving away millions of dollars each month to refresh communities across the county and the organization hopes to win the money since it is in need of new kennels.

CircleTail, located in Pleasant Plain, is a organization that helps people with disabilities and allowing people to adopt dogs and use service dogs.

Organization keeps most of the dogs that are up for adoption and are being trained to be service dogs in crates. Beth Johannigman, the fundraising chair of Circle, says the dogs are in a make shift building at this time.

The contest runs until September 30.
