MILLVALE, OH (FOX19) - Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with a fatal shooting in Millvale Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Beekman Street.
Police say the Kevin Isaac, 20, was pushing a young child in a stroller when the shooting happened. The child was not hurt, and has since been given back to his guardian.
There was no sign of a struggle at the scene of the shooting. According to police, it appears that the shooter simply walked up to Isaac and shot him.
The 17-year-old in custody was missing from the NECO Juvenile Placement Center in Pedro, Ohio earlier Wednesday. There was a Violation of Court Order warrant on file the 17-year-old for not returning back to the center after a visitor's pass.
The 17-year-old reportedly has mental issues and is on medication to control conduct behavior.
