CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati's Mobile Food Trucks are coming to City Hall to benefit this year's United Way Campaign. Mobile Food and Beverage Truck Vendors will be parked on the north side of City Hall, along 9th Street beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 23rd.

Each $1.00 donation goes to support the City's United Way goal and gets you a discount (determined by the Vendor) off your meal purchase. Tickets may be purchased in advance beginning Monday, September 20 at the Department of Community Development Reception Area, 805 Central Avenue, 7th Floor (Centennial 2 office building). Tickets may also be purchased during the event from a Department of Community Development representative.

The social networks are buzzing about the new food choices now available in downtown Cincinnati. Established by a not-withstanding ordinance in June 2010, the Mobile Food and Beverage Truck Vending Pilot Program is operating at 100% capacity. Community Development recently issued the 20th and final Revocable Street Privilege (RSP) to allow the sale of food and beverages from trucks at the 5th and Race Street Parking Lot, along Court Street and at Sawyer Point.

Mobile food and Beverage Vendors, already on a roll all across the country, are now bringing delicious and affordable cuisine to City Hall to help us raise funds for the United Way! Join the fun and delight your taste buds with a Cajun po' boy from Taste of New Orleans, gourmet burgers from Café de Wheels, barbecued ribs from Just Q'in Barbeque Catering, delicious tacos from Senor Roy's. Top it off with ice cream from Coldstone Creamery or cold, tasty smoothies from The Coffee Guy.
