EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - An Evanston mother is behind bars after police found her three young children home alone.
Jennifer Rogers, 23, is charged with three counts of child endangerment.
Officers were dispatched to Rogers' home on Woodburn Avenue and found three young girls, ages 5, 3 and 23 months home alone.
Rogers arrived about 10 minutes after the police got there after she was alerted by a neighbor.
According to court records, officer also found standing sewage in the toilet and a sharp knife within reach of the children.
Rogers was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
