CINCINNATI (FOX19) - As soon as the fireworks soared into the center field sky, the official NL Central Division Championship gear hit the shelves and racks at the Reds Team Shop at Crosley Terrace.

And it went fast.

The shop stayed open all night and will have been open 25 hours straight when it closes an hour after Wednesday's game against the Astros.

"We've been season ticket holders for 20 years I live in Bloomington (Indiana) and usually only here on the weekends," said Mark Fisher. "But I'm here tonight because of magnitude of the game. I'm taking the kids home some stuff."

From 1 a.m. until 6 a.m., the pro shop rang up a whopping 430 sales transactions. It seems Reds fans didn't care about getting sleep - they've been dreaming about this for 15 years.

"I worked all night and kept hearing about the gift shop being open all night so I came in here to get some a few things," said fan Ryan Welch.

Seventy percent of the championship inventory was gone by 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. The gray division champ t-shirt that the team wore after Tuesday's game was a hot item. Some fans bought six or eight at a time.

"I came in on my way to work. Probably going to be late," said Robin Gaugth. "The boss will laugh, will want to know where hers is at."

There are no more magic numbers to count, wondering where and when it will happen. Instead, fans just thinking about which they want to purchase - a black or red championship hat.

The pro shop will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, and hopes to have a new shipment by 10 a.m.
